Currently am functioning in the role of School Psychologist. I perform all evaluations for special education. I also am case manager for some special education files. I began teaching at Jay Public Schools in January of 2000. I have been a part of the education field for 34 years. I worked for the Stated Department of Education in the RESC section for 10 years.
I started my career in 1984 at Afton, Oklahoma as a special education teacher.
I worked at Afton for 8 years then was hired by the RESC’s as a school psychometrist.
I worked in Texas for two years as a diagnostician. I woked for Wharton ISD, which is located 50 miles south of Houston.
I completed my internship as school psychologist in 1999.
I have two children; Kristen and Taylor. They both are young adults and both attended Jay Public Schools. I also have a 3 year old grandson and am expecting another in December of 2018. My grandson attends Grand Head Start.
My hobbies include reading, watching movies, garage sales, and family events. I enjoy being able to spend time with my family. I attend Southside Church of Christ and try to be involved in activites and services. I also enjoy listening to music and visiting friends.
